acne and allergy acne, allergy

i was gfoing to put in acne section but the advice im after is regarding allergy tests.is it worth getting tested for foods causing acne?

Traditional food testing is not very accurate. I would suggest that you just iliminate various foods from your diet (for several weeks at a time to be sure) and see how you react. Do you suspect certain foods?

what about a food allergy blood test?

My next door neighbour has problems with acne and allergies, her doctor doesn’t believe it, but she started taking otc allergy pills and it started clearing up.   But she don’t want to continue to take otc meds, so I think allergy test is a good idea, then you can prevent break outs by not eating the things you are allergic too.
